Five easy miles this morning. Beautiful weather and lots of folks taking advantage of it. Folks are biking, walking, jogging along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
For the record, I weigh 151 pounds. I will monitor my weight through this training season and see what happen at the end of the 16 weeks. If I get leaner that would be less weight to carry during the marathon.
At the same time, I want to build muscle mess, so I can go the distance. My appetite usually becomes voracious while in training. The distance I put in each day needs calorie to sustain. I will be more diligent in my caloric intake and staying away from junk foods.
In addition to my weight, I may track my heart rate at times. Haven’t quite figure it out a consistent way to measure it and the rationale to support. We will see.
