Honesty without Compassion is Cruelty

Bruce Kasanoff, story teller, shared his insights on relationship, particularly how to handle truth in a sensible and meaningful way.

Kasanoff convincingly argued that “Companies want better metrics to measure . . . everyone is connected to everyone else… and these connections produce data that provide an honest picture of reality,” However without compassion “these honest snapshots of the truth could lead us to a far crueler world.”

My take away are that people are complicated, and there is no absolute truth. Human relationship can not be reduced to just numbers.  We need to use our heart as well as our head in dealing with others.
