Ideal vs. Reality

Life is not perfect.  A lesson we learned quickly while growing up.  In those fleeting years, we also recognize there is a gap between our ideals and realities.  It is in that gap, life exists.

Reality without ideal is surviving.  Ideal without reality is dreaming. Between surviving and dreaming there is a creative tension that nudges us to move our reality closer to our ideal.

Eventually we reach a point of balance, or we run out of time, energy, or both.

What is your ideal?

What is your reality?

Have you reached a balance?
