All day the temperature in and around Washington area has been below freezing. Folks hurried going about their business. Their quickened steps, hunched bodies, and blanked looks are hints of they are rather be inside and doing something else.
Looking up and down the street only a few pedestrians ventured out to brave the element. What worse after yesterday’s snow attack are the bitter winds blowing and kicking the snow flakes around to remind folks the misery of yesterday and the potential of more to come.
Sure, there are a lot colder places than Washington DC today. But I am too numb to feel for them, sorry.
