We Are Not In Control

If someone else has not mentioned it, I  am sorry to break the news: we not in full control of our lives.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there is an answer to every problem, like in the back of the school textbooks?  Every story an happy ending? And Technology rescue us from the world’s crises?

As much as we wish that we can control our environment, plan our outcome, or influence our destiny, the answer is a definitive No.  Because sometimes we just don’t know.  We don’t even know ourselves half of the times.

Recognizing and accepting this fact, as described by the Mindful Balance post here, is the beginning of wisdom.
