Overcoming Fear

Fear is a normal part of life.  We all experience it sometimes.

How we deal with fear, on the other hand, varies depending on individual.  It is a skill learned subjectively, like many of the human experiences.  However common fear may be, its nemesis, courage, is just the opposite.

Courage is not fearless.  It is the fortitude to press on in spite of the fear (not in absence of it).  That is why courageous act is so inspiring and rare.  Because we know it is a triumph over self, over our deepest and darkest fear.

It takes courage to overcome fear.  Be courageous. No regret, no excuse, and no copping out.
