Day 3 Week 7 – July Begins And I Feel Good

Shhhhhhhhh. . . . Don’t look.  It is July 1.  Already!

One-third of the 20 week marathon training has gone.  Bye bye.

But I am not panic, because I feel strong in my training progress.

Legs feel good from today’s 6 miles easy (9:00 to 9:45) w/4 x 20 sec strides workout.

But more noticeably, I am in a much calmer state of mind this time around.

Absent the mental stress of the past years’, the training schedule is my friend.

Everyday I look to the schedule and run what is planned.  Day by day.

Yeah, I can’t run a decent marathon today.  But thirteen more weeks . . .

We shall see.
