Day 6 Week 8 – Long Run, High Heat Warning

DC, Baltimore: Heat and Humidity to Continue Through the Start of Next Week

DC, Baltimore: Heat and Humidity to Continue Through the Start of Next Week

It’s mid-July and the weather is getting hot around the Washington DC area (about to get more humid and hotter).

The air was thick.  Someone said, “it’s humid.” I looked up to the sky, and yup it is overcast.  Like a lid.  Glad that I only had 11 mile long run to do – all easy pace (9:00 to 9:45).

And on top of that, the overcasted sky finally turned into rain towards the end of my run. It felt refreshing.

Everyday is a good day when you run.

– Kevin Nelson

By the way, the “Boston” on the left is labeled wrong, probably meant to be Louisville or some other city in Kentucky.
