Day 2 Week 13 – Rebound Day

It must have rained last night.  The driveway and grass are wet this morning.  The moisture marks the cracks on the road like sprouting spider webs.

A steady cool breeze reminds me of the lazy days on the beach sans the salt.  The 4 miles easy run feels very inviting.

Not repeating yesterday’s tempo intervals, heavens no, it’s an easy day after all, I vary my strides slightly just to get a feel for the different paces, or specifically my breathing for the different paces.  It feels better today.

Pacing is something I must master in the next couple of weeks.  But for now, I will just go ahead and take a nap.
