Day 2 Week 14 – Tough Easy Pace Run?

Today’s 8 miles easy (9:00 to 9:45) was a lot harder than I could imagined (surprised might be a better word as I usually don’t fret over the schedule).

My legs were heavy, body tired.  Not because I partied all night before, the culprit was due to the accumulated fatigue from yesterday’s tempo run.

The easy pace run supposed to provide a relief and an opportunity for my body to recover. Oh boy, it did not feel that way.  Especially the last two miles, I had to exercise mental toughness just to finish the run.

Not complaining.  I knew this is how my training plan is designed.  Just curious how will the rest of the week play out.
