Day 3 Week 20 – De-Stressing

4 days to the race day.  I decided to enjoy today’s schedule of 6 miles easy – no strides, as a way to re-discover the fun of running and de-stress from the pressure of marathon.

So I did run free.  No watch.  No worry about the mile markers.  Just enjoy the feeling of the being out there.  My legs were steady and breath calm.

It rained a lot last night.  So the ground was still damp. And I could feel the moisture from the landscape along my route.  The trees and plants looked so happy.

There was even a slight breeze provided me the occasional refreshment for the run. What a nice run.
