Last week I totaled 26 miles (6 miles on Monday, 4 on Wednesday, 6 Friday, and 10 Saturday). Weather was still holding its line on the warmer rather than colder side.
The main news was the attacks in Paris on Friday and the aftermath. The French has stepped up its retaliation on the Islamic State already. More to come in the near future. What interesting was that Beirut was similarly attacked on the day before (Thursday), but received far less news coverage.
My weekly mileage is half of what it was during the marathon training and less intense. It is okay for now as I am practicing more yoga to tune my other body parts such as the connective chain (i.e. ankle, knee, hip, etc.) which are foundational.
SRC has selected Key West as its marathon for 2016. So I will be updating my countdown calendar accordingly.
