Why I Blog Daily

I like this quote from the FranklinCovey Style Guide –

note taking is essential as thought does not survive well or long purely as brainwaves.

Believe me – I can testify that those flashes of brilliance come fast but they disappear even faster.  Especially as I get older.

While in school, I did not care for note taking as I viewed it as a chore, a necessary evil. Be that as it may, that forced discipline taught me to appreciate the value of note taking.

In a way, this blog is my daily notes on life.  It helps me to capture brilliant ideas when cross them, record memorable moments so they don’t flash out, and perhaps just slow my life down a bit to examine it.

How do you capture life’s events, moments, etc.? Keepsakes?
