Oscar Wilde once wrote, “life imitates art far more than art imitates life.”
I find this to be the case with the current National Collegiate Athletic Association’s March Madness.
This week, the tournament is at the Sweet Sixteen. Followed by the Elite Eight, Final Four and so on. Besides being a major sporting and business opportunity, the NCAA runs the tournament tightly in spite of what the title suggests.
Whether you are a basketball fan or not, seeing how each team competes for the national title under well defined and executed rules is gratifying. How many chance can we get to enjoy life in a fair way? The March Madness is as fair as life goes.
Wouldn’t it be nice if life’s rules are fair? What would you do if it is not?
