Fighting Fatigue

It is a struggle.

He has been staring at that same screen for seems like an eternity.  But nothing.  Nothing gets produced except the occasional streak of key strokes accidentally left by a sleepy pause.

Rubbing his barely opened or mostly shut eyes, he struggles to write.  But his brain is covertly shutting down the rest of his body.  It’s a battle of the will – will his body fall asleep or his brain?

Interesting enough that his body has only swayed back and forth enough to not fallen out of his chair. For sure it’s only a matter of time before the fatigue  issssssssssssssssss

  1. Sleep! I make a huge effort to get to bed earlier. And sometimes working out — when I can get into the zone with a good sweat – it helps burn off the fatigue.

      Yes Elysha, sleep is one of the more effective but often overlooked choices. Our bodies need that recovery period (so as our mind). Love the way you said about working out – “helps burn off the fatigue.” YES!
