“Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here.”

My fellow SRC runner Katie loves to run in the woods. Her passion for such adventure is reflected in David Wagoner’s poem. And the same benefit is available to each one of us.
When in the presence of nature, take notice where you are. Be humbled. Not only you will find your way around easier but also you may discover about yourself alone the way.
That is what Henry David Thoreau did when he went to the Walden:
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
