While running through the woods, our conversation came upon the topic of relationship, specifically of partnership.  Yes partnership, as in a partner in a firm, people doing things together, or husband and wife.

It is common in marriage that we seek life partners. Someone to share our lives with. In sickness and in health. . .  But partnership does not have to be in love and can exist outside a marriage, such as business partners.

Partners do not have to be equal or same.  But they do need to work together.  The example of ballroom dancers is a perfect illustration of this.  The man and woman, moving synchronously as one. Complementing each other.  Flow together with music.

Who is your partner(s) in the true sense of the word? And how does that relationship feel/work?
