It is passed 8 pm.
The street is now quiet. Homeward bound traffics fizzle out. A gentle cool breeze sweeps over the neighborhood. Carries with it the soothing touch of Mother Nature. It feels like a summer eve.
Summer Solstice, is not until 20 June (for us in the Northern Hemisphere), technically the beginning of summer. Then call it pre-summer eve or transition time. All the same.
The heat has lifted and in its place a refreshing coolness. Perfect for an evening stroll. Time to shake off the day’s worries, unwind any tensed nerves, and listen to one’s own heartbeats.
Such is life’s simple pleasure. Wish you were here.
