7/14/2016 – no running, traveling
I have been traveling for several days now. Travel fatigue is beginning to catch up with me.
Without the convenience of home, I am not recovering as well from the daily on-the-go schedule, thus begin to feel the tolls of traveling.
The feeling is similar to the later part of a marathon race – running on fume and relying on my stamina to keep me going.
Root cause? My recovery is lagging.
Not that I necessarily need to sleep in my own bed or eat home cooked meals. But invest more in my recovery cycle: better sleep, more yoga, and healthier meals.
What tips would you share on avoiding travel fatigue?
