9/18/2016 – rest day, total 46 miles for this week
With twelve out of twenty weeks of the marathon training complete, the rest of the training will be more marathon specific. In a nutshell, endurance focused. This is by design also validated by my progress check.
Marathon is an endurance sport. The combination of aerobic threshold, muscular endurance and fat burning needs to be optimized to finish the 26.2 miles in desired time. I will be fine tuning this equation in the remaining eight weeks.
On the political front, people are more alike than they are different. No doubt, where we live influences our beliefs. This is why all politics are local. In the next fifty days, the race to the White House will heat up if not already. Candidates will want to convert our votes, by saying what we want to hear.
It is our responsibility to cast our vote to what we believe. Which should not be a waiting game.
