Day 3 Week 19 – Better Than Reality TV

11/2/2016 – 8 AM run, cloudy & cool, 6 miles easy plus 6 striders

With U.S. Presidential election only 6 days away, the candidates are, instead of wrapping up their arguments and locking in their votes, faced with   onslaught of social media leaks & exposés that are forcing them to revising their campaign strategies to suit.

Below is one of such pieces on the Clintons that makes me wonder whether it is fate or destiny?  One thing is for sure – no Hollywood scriptwriters can make it better.

As nervous Democrats obsess about tracking polls, Joe Biden recently offered a poignant reminder of what might have been when he told CNN, “I thought I could beat Hillary. I thought I could beat anybody who ran.” Of course, the putative Biden for President campaign ended in the spring of 2015 with the untimely death of his son Beau. And it remains questionable whether the vice president could ever have defeated Hillary among Democratic partisans still under the sway of Clintonism and determined to nominate a woman.
