Day 1 Week 20 – Uncertainty

11/7/2016 – 8 AM run, cool, 3.3 mile warm-up, 3 miles at 8:00 pace, 3.3 mile cool down

Ran the tempo run to fine tune my race pace.  My splits were 7:52, 8:03, 7:58.

People don’t like uncertainty.  They may say that they like spontaneity or adventure, but when you jack up the magnitude of the unknown, their enthusiasm wanes.

With the exceptions of death and taxes, life is uncertain, said Benjamin Franklin. For instance, we don’t know who is going to be our next president.  Even after the election, we don’t know how well the person will govern.  Life is full of uncertainties.

What then should we do?  The answer lies within ourselves.

How do you deal with uncertainties?  Hedge, ignore, or something else?
