Day 2 Week 20 – Do More Than Vote

11/08/2016 – U.S. election day, no running

There is a saying that everyone brings happiness – some when they come, and some when they leave.  The same can be said about this year’s U.S. general election.  So glad that it is over, at least for the East Coast.  The voting has completed as of this writing.

I know this because I was serving as an election judge in one of the precincts.  The poll opened from 7 AM to 8 PM, and I was there one hour prior and after to open and close the poll.  A long day indeed (thus no running) but a productive day nevertheless.

How was your day? An historical day in U.S. election history that marks an end to a long and nasty presidential campaign.
