Never heard of horizontal meditation? Me neither. Until I caught myself dozing off.
Joking aside, I have been looking for healthy ways to increase my energy (still recovering from the holidays I suppose). Besides exercise and yoga, meditation is on top of the list.
Came across this article by Dr. Pedram Shoja, aka The Urban Monk, on meditation that I found useful and insightful. Particularly, his train analogy illustrated the point of why meditation is going with the flow instead of fighting it.
