America under Trump is not only losing its standing around the globe but also its core values among its people.
At issue is the travel/immigration ban executive order signed by President Trump that instead of making America First, as he claims, will make America Last.
Last? Because we can’t look ourselves in the mirror nor sing our national anthem without feeling betrayed. Are we are still the proud country that boasts the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave?
Immigrants or refugees who came to America epitomize the American values of individual freedom and braving risks of change. The risk could be the ultimate price of life. Instead of welcoming them like our forefathers did, we are now driving them away.
