Action Speaks Louder Than Words

Wondering about your purpose in life?  Where will you be in 5 years?  These kinds of questions used to put me on pins and needles when asked.  Because I didn’t have an answer.  And I did not want to appear clueless.

After-all nobody wants to appear unsure about their life’s direction.  If you share similar anxiety, fear no more.  I have figured out a solution that may just work for you.

It is called: fake it until you make it.

This is what I meant:  find a cause, take a stand, and make an impact.  It really doesn’t matter what cause you pick.  For the sake of not appearing clueless, just pick one.  You can always change later when something better turns up.

With a cause, you then make it yours by taking a position (i.e. for or against) and why. And the third and the last step is important – make an impact by doing something about it that makes you feel good, moves you closer to your goal, and allows you to describe it.

That’s it: find a cause, take a stand, and make an impact. It’s that simple.  No more agonizing.

Have you got a “mission” or a “passion”?
