Day 5 Week 1 – Life’s Unanswered Questions

Rest/ Yoga stretch

People want their questions answered.  They are discontent until they get their questions answered one way or another, from the internet to the fortune teller.  Because answer provides closure and a peace of mind. Without it, the suspense is too unnerving.

However, the questions that life hands us, at times, are unanswerable, at least not right away. Questions like the meaning of life, the essence of love,  the purpose of human existence are just a few come to mind.  Finding answers to these kinds of questions are part of what life is about.

As Viktor Frankl wrote in the Man’s Search for Meaning, “Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual.”

Rather to think that you are being punished, like Sisyphus pushing the boulder uphill or get frustrated with the process, rise up and meet the call.  There is no quick fix or easy answer to life’s difficult questions.  Take the responsibility to find the right answers for you and make that as part of your mission.

What are your unanswered questions?
