Aloha Oahu

Saying good bye is hard, especially when one is leaving the paradise. Yesterday my month long visit to Oahu, Hawaii came to an end.  With a sad heart, I bid the island “aloha,”

The visit has opened my eyes to the beauties of Oahu, its people, as well as the rich tapestry of the integrated culture that resulted from the island’s history.  But most of all, I am sad to leave the all-envied tropical climates behind.

With the temperature varying between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, the island offers an environment that is most agreeable with me.  I also like the occasional trade winds that carries away the humidity and keeps the air comfortable.

Many fond memories of Oahu will stay with me for sure.  In Hawaiian, aloha means greeting and parting.  So it’s good bye for now.  Until we meet again.
