Day 1 Week 4 – Where Did the Spring Go? part 2

5 miles easy pace plus strides, cool & 61 degree

Part 1, here.

Early morning, the weather was nice and cool. Perfect for my run.   But later in the day, temperature went straight up hitting 80s.  And my cell phone started to receive flash warning from the National Weather Service – a tornado watch in effect for the immediate Washington DC area.

Right around dinner time, the thunder and rain commenced. This pattern is expected to repeat for the next couple of days with tomorrow’s temperature forecast in the 90s.  Sounds very much like the Summer is here.

What puzzles me is that less than two months ago, we were being threaten by a record snow storm.  The variation seems a bit extreme to me.   Of course, I am no climate expert, but according to NASA, plenty evidences suggest our earth is getting warmer.

Looks like no more sleeping-in for me to get my runs in.

What do you believe is going to happen if the earth continues getting warmer?
