Day 1 Week 10 – Homestretch

7 miles easy pace + 4 strides, sunny & 73 degree

Not going to deny it, I am super tired as in barely able to keep my eyes open.

No, no.  I am not tired from this morning’s run, nor from the strides afterwards, but from the final preparations for the Primary election tomorrow.  Thirty-three candidates for 4 open seats.  A highly contested race.

In fact, when I went around different polling places to post signs for my candidate, there were other candidates’ people doing the same thing.  Understandably so.  Now is the homestretch.

Tomorrow will be a full-on day from dawn to dusk (polls open from 7 AM to 8 PM).  I need to get some sleep so I can be ready.  In any event I am glad my marathon training has prepared me to go the distance.

Stay tune.
