Week Eleven of my Erie Marathon training. Total miles ran this week: 48. My weight is 147.4 pounds and resting heart rate 54 beats per minute. Both are trending downward.
Things are heating up this week, weather and training wise.
91 degree this week is the hottest weather I ever trained in. 18 miles is the longest training run for me thus far. At the same time I continue to push the limits as part of the lactate threshold phase training.
Naturally, the added mileage and intensity result in a darker, leaner, but hungrier me – an visible transformation that would make anybody take notice. Move over Weight Watchers.
