Finally, Week 20 has arrived. Looking back to April when my Erie Marathon training started, this journey has been quite rewarding.
Foremost, I enjoy the miles and miles of hitting the pavements. Whether it’s on the 5th Avenue in New York City or the B-Line Trail in Bloomington, Indiana, I set out to have fun while questing for marathon fitness.
This approach has kept me injury- & stress-free, and focused. Take today’s run for instance. Even though I was drenched afterwards, I know it was important to keep my legs loose and to fire up m neurons. Not a problem.
Albeit my performance at the Erie marathon will validate my training, I have no regrets with the outcome whatever it may be. Because life is what you do. And I have done it well this time around.
