A Day Well Spent

A good life is time well spent.  What is good of course depends on our perspective.  But most folks I presume would, while on their deathbed, not wishing for more time at work (on the other hand, nothing wrong if that is what floats your boat).

Today my day was well spent.  Started the day with some hill repeats to get my heart rate pumping.  Trying to include some intensity workout to hold on to my marathon fitness. Watched a movie with the woman I love (something we used to do with great frequency before children).

And I finished the day with a training on the upcoming mid-term election, poll operations.  This year I will again work at the poll.  It’s my small way of contributing to this process we call democracy.

How about your day? Was it time well spent?
