Election Victory

Just finished a long day working at the polls (6 AM to 10 PM).  I am exhausted physically but high in spirit.

The polls opened from 7 AM to 8 PM.  In addition, I was the designated driver to deliver the physical ballots at the end of the day from our precinct to the election office.  It was a long day for sure, and the voter turnout was steady.

I am encouraged by seeing many folks braved the rain to come out and voted.  No matter Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians or Independents,  they came before & after work, during lunch hour, and throughout the day.  I even met a new voter who just became a US citizen recently.  How exciting!

So I say the election victory truly belongs to the people, particularly those who voted.
