Between what we want and what we have, there is a gap. Reasonable people work on closing that gap. But problem arises when we get emotional. Don’t want to get old, be lonely, and say goodbye are examples of illusive gap that trap us.
Lets face it, we are human. Getting old, being lonely and having to say goodbye are inevitable. How prepared are we to face the fact or more importantly to handle the gap is the question. Especially when people get carried away by their feelings.
Instead of confronting their emotions and associated realities, people having emotional behaviors are treated as problems and made to go away. Even that means if we have to isolate or drug them to do it. Is this compassion or convenience? And for whom?
Do you think we are too quick to label people?
Unless of course what we want is unreasonable.
