Week In Review – 27 Jan 2019

Americans are hopeful people. Our hope is rooted in the principle articulated by the Constitution. Given that hope is the basis of struggle, Donald Trump has been our cause. Not necessary bad, in fact he could be just what the country needs to re-ignite & re-affirm our principle and redemption through action.

2019 starts out with a bang. Not wasting any time, we have the longest government shutdown in US history (thanks to Trump). But on a more personal level my new morning routines is taking shape nicely, and so has the 20th anniversary for my running group.

On a macro level, our struggles to maintain hope faces many challenges such as our shortsightedness and blatant disregard toward our environment. Be it global warming, deforestation, or other extinctions, our actions have consequences.

That was why I blame the burrito.

Have a nice week!
