The first of my twenty week marathon training is complete. My training strategy parallels closely to what I did last year with some refinements. Similar process with incremental improvements in keeping with my training style.
Noticeable already, I find myself more casual or less stressed about putting my body through the workouts. Paying more attention to the quality rather than the quantity or training by minutes not distance.
Another of my initiatives, not new but more concerted, is to improve my sleep. Better sleep constitutes an important part of recovery and ability to sustain my training efforts. Which ultimately leads to a healthier life.
