We have obligation to doing what’s right, but it doesn’t always happen. Life can trick us into otherwise. Therefore, best to reflect what’s right periodically in terms of what aspirations we hold.
For me, after the marathon each year, I reflect on what I want to achieve. After all my marathon training has been a major focus for 20 weeks out of the whole year. My reflection still a work in progress, but I want to maintain compassion during the process.
For instance, I did not applying for the 2020 Boston Marathon due to its rolling admission and my qualification time is less than 5 minutes faster than the standards. Nevertheless, I would count my health and fitness goals as accomplished.
Whatever my future goals will be, they will be energetic, stretched goals, and improving myself in someways.
Have a nice week!
