Week In Review – 2 Nov 2019

Successfully transitioned from October into November. No big deal in the normal sense of things for our day-to-day routines stay pretty constant.  Only that, November marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season.

Noteworthy happenings this week include the US House of Representatives voted to impeach President Trump, Daylight saving time reverted back to standard time, and the Washington Nationals won its first World series title.

I think it’s about time that Trump gets the scrutiny he deserves.  Even in the moment of triumph, he manages to make it all about him.  The killing of the ISIS lead is a continuing effort of our War on Terror.  Trump just happens to be on the job and takes the credit.

Besides these noted social events, Mother Nature has folded the summer heat in the mid-Atlantic and left us plenty of autumn leaves.  Great weather for running, and perhaps sleeping as well. Enjoy the cooler climate if you’re in the northern hemisphere.

Lastly, whether “Okay Google,” “Hey Siri,” or simply “Alexa” these voice assistants are getting popular.  Some people worry the Artificial Intelligence will take over our world. Fear not.  All I want is a self driving car to chauffeur me around.

Is that too much to ask?

Have a nice week!
