This Finite Life Of Ours

We all know that life is finite.   Yoga has this saying that we were born with so many breaths in us.  If so, when is our last breath?

While don’t know if the end is near, I want to live my life prepared.  Not that I am waiting for the finale.  Oh no.  By “prepared” I meant to live the present moment the best I could, so when the moment arrives, I am ready.

To me the “breath” analogy works well because it visualises the meaning of a fulfilling life.  Not worrying about the past and certainly not the future which is unpredictable.  Focusing on what is present.  The breath that I am taking in and breathing out is the present moment.

What do you have that is yet to be done?  What are you waiting for?
