Adversity seems an appropriate word to describe the time we are facing – pandemic, social unrest, and economic downturn. It affects us all. Be it a social movement like the George Floyd Protest or simply a grocery store run.
But in truth adversity exists anytime through history. Only we relate to it better when challenged. And here is the key: what ultimately makes a difference is not the adversities but our response to them. In the responses reflect our human spirit.
To the Class of 2020 encapsulates this spirit. The George Floyd Protest and COVID-19 represent the challenges. What stands out is that we are shaped by our habits both good and bad. In times of challenge, the good habits prevail.
Stay safe & have a nice week.
