The US Election, the elephant in room, aside, the US Postal Service is mucking it up and struggling to deliver the ballots, the hurricane season is kicking up yet another storm, and, you guessed it, Covid-19 cases are on the rise,
Instead of bringing relief, the election tomorrow has morphed into a Trump-inflicted crisis. Tension about the post election unrest on top of everything else is so palpable, folks are hording essential supplies similar to the beginning of the pandemic back in March.
What happened to the beacon of democracy, the keeper of the American dream? Is our system failing? Have we lost our souls? Or will it be a cold and “dark winter“? I honestly can’t answer any of them. But I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Just in case.
