Coming near the end of year, with less than just a little over a day time left in 2020, most major projects would have to wait. That is except the 2021 Defense Spending Bill that Mr. Trump veto’ed.
The US Senate is still wrangling with the veto as of this writing. A procedure vote is expected today at 5 pm EST. Will the debate continue or will they come to an agreement? Only time will tell. But at issue is the Coronavirus relief bill, specifically how much ($600 vs $2K).
There is a chance that the Senators may have to work through the New Year eve and before the Congress adjourns, which would be the epitome of a “last minute” act.
