Covid-19: US Update #6

After fourteen months, the US efforts to control the Covid-19 is finally looking up.

Daily Case Trends as of 25 May 2021, red = 7-day moving average

  • 25 states have fully vaccinated half of their adult residents
  • 61.8% Americans have at least one dose
  • 10 states have 70% of their adults fully vaccinated

Meanwhile, the worldwide Covid-19 cases fell 14% last week according to the World Health Organization.  Certainly, we are not done and won’t be until the rest of the world is rid of the Coronavirus.  The longer that waits greater the risk of the virus to mutate and its variants to evade the vaccine protection.

Update 5, here.

Given the AstraZeneca vaccine is not approved for US, do you think we should donate their stockpile to other countries?
