Week In Review – 19 Sep 2021

After 18 months of Coronavirus, are lives starting to get back to normal? Will we ever?  For people who have lost their love one(s) during the pandemic, the answer will probably be a  negative. But for others and society at large, are things trending back to pre-pandemic?

Lets see, schools are open and some road races are coming back. Signs of normalcy do begin to emerge. Having said that, the Delta variant is, fueled in part by the non-vaccine believers, sustaining the spread.  We will turn the corner.  Hope it’s sooner than later.

Despite its origin still in question, Covid-19 blaming continues to feed the social and news media. I suppose it will be milked as long as they can. Same for scams and frauds piggyback on the Covid-19 (think fake vaccination card).  Given bad people have been around since the beginning of humankind, why would this time be any different?

Behooves us not to get bogged down and tricked by our own filters,  With pandemic fatigue, it’s easy to gravitate toward the familiars and accept comfortable tales as truth. From time to time, good to challenge the collective wisdom and adapt any lessons learned.

Stay safe & have a nice week.
