Week In Review – 14 Nov 2021

An inevitable truth I learnt is how much I don’t know.  Helen Keller once said, “The highest result of education is tolerance.” And to that I add, foremost is to tolerate our own ignorance. My discovery of the deeper truth falls in this category.  Things in life are not always what they appear to be.

With that thought, little has changed in my post retirement living by appearance.  Aside from not working, I spend my life pretty much the same as before, with one caveat – I now  have a different mindset. And that has made a huge difference in my routines, even on the simplest ones.

We are now approaching mid-November and the second year under the Coronavirus. Not all impact and consequence from the pandemic are negative, but that’s what often gets  reported. Our diversified and dynamic society does not make reaching consensus an easy task. Hence, election results reveal much about our collective values.  Live & learn.

Stay safe & have a nice week
