Taking care of self sounds rudimentary. Everyone besides a child should be able to do it, Right?
If it were only that simple, the world would be a lot happier place. No more homeless or hungry people for example. But as we all know that is not the case.
Public or social policy aside, each individual has to address this responsibility on their own. And it is not that simple especially with the holidays approaching and the pandemic hanging around.
Do you feel the pinch of the food and gas prices going up? Get that panic feeling seeing the store empty shelves? Or when will the booster shot be available? If any of these questions has come across your mind, you’re not alone. If it’s any consolation, we’re in it together.
And there are ways we can take care ourselves without getting stressed out. Just like a fellow blogger commented on inflation that he will ask no physical gifts for this holiday. A wonderful example of taking care of self by reducing the stress.
Any other ideas you may suggest to take care of the self in our current situation?
