As the saying goes – when it rains, it pours.
The Coronavirus pandemic is compounded by the outbreak of tornadoes in the Midwest this week. The damage is overwhelming and historical in proportion according to Governor Besheare of Kentucky. Our hearts go out to the victims.
Adding insult to injury, the Amazon Web Services, the country’s largest provider of cloud-computing, went down for hours on Tuesday. Given that our lives are inextricably tied between digital and physical worlds, it’s a blessing that no catastrophe resulted, relatively speaking.
If these news stir up negative emotions, join the club. Particularly, as we approach the year’s end, one could not help to wonder how much more bad news could we bear in 2021, before it infamously becomes the second year of the pandemic history.
So on the brighter side, life moves on. We may remember it, or not, in the big scheme of things depending on how good your memory serves you.
