Today is Saturday. But not just any Saturdays but a beautiful February Saturday in SoCal (Southern California). Tustin to be exact.
Sitting in the parking lot, I had to pinch myself to make sure that I remember just how iconic the weather is. With the car windows rolled down, a soothing cross-breeze puts my mind at ease and my mood in joy.
Can’t ask for a more perfect combination – a clear sky, temperature in the comfortable low 70’s, and a Saturday on top of that. People are chilling. Cars next to mine also have people sitting inside preoccupied doing something.
Suddenly a thought occurred to me: perhaps they are enjoying this moment as well. No one seems to be in a hurry. Time comes to a stand still. Who says weather does not affect how we feel? It definitely does.
Update on the Ukraine war – even though the Russian has intensified its assault on the capital city Kyiv, resistance force is holding on, for now. President Zelensky and the Ukrainian people are showing Putin that they are no pushovers.
