It’s November!

Colorful Tree In My Neighborhood

November has arrived in Washington DC. No doubt, the mid-Atlantic region, where I am, is in full autumn mode.

During my run this morning, yard Halloween props from the night before still visible.  But what more impressionable and caught my eyes was the colorful tree leaves. Like the one shown above along my route. They are like time stamp, recording the footprints of the season.

The vivid colors, natural and adorable, made me reached high instinctively with my arm to touch those low hanging leaves as if I could feel the time passing between my fingers. I was mesmerized by the natural beauty of the season and lost myself briefly in the moment.

Hope you can enjoy the season wherever you’re.
